WHY ELDERBERRY EXTRACT?
The dark berries from the elder tree may have anti-inflammatory, antiviral, and anti-cancer properties. They have been shown to shorten the duration of colds and flus, while helping to boost the immune system, according to the University of Maryland Medical Center.  

My family and I take 1 teaspoon daily as a preventative measure from October to May. In the event of illness (which is rare), we bump up the dosage to 1 teaspoon 3x a day to minimize symptoms and duration.
